RETURN POLICY: At Designer Antiques, we take great pride in our furniture and want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, we will gladly provide a refund in the original form of payment for your order within 14 days of receipt or within 30 days for an exchange. The product must be in good condition and show no signs of damage. Designer Antiques will repair or replace your furniture against defects for up to one year. We select premium materials to be crafted into our custom furniture. Inherent characteristics of the wood, such as mineral streaks, color variation, grain variation, knots, and other markings add to the natural beauty of our wood furniture and are not considered defects. Inherent characteristics of working with reclaimed (antique wood that has been replaned or remilled) timber often require the use of wood plugs to replace an area of timber that is damaged or unusable.
SHIPPING DAMAGE: Occasionally, products are damaged in the shipping process. If you notice any damage to the boxes or packages, please note that damage on the shipping document before signing for the acceptance of the items. Please contact us immediately if you find any damaged items. We have taken extra precautions in our shipping process to minimize any chance of product damage. It is recommended that you save the pallets, cartons, and packing material until after you inspect the furniture. If the product was damaged in shipment, we will arrange to have the furniture replaced or repaired at our expense. If we cannot solve the problem, we will issue a refund the total cost of the product including return shipping.
RETURNS FOR REASONS OTHER THAN DAMAGE OR DEFECTS: Most of our furniture orders are made-to-order. While we accept returns, you are responsible for all shipping charges (delivery to you, and returning to us). We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and we strive to earn your repeat business. If you reject a delivery (without first contacting us), we will charge the shipping costs from your deposit. Our commitment to you is to ensure the furniture meets your satisfaction. If you ordered the wrong product or just want to return the product, we do not pay for the cost of shipping to return the product. We will however arrange for the product to be picked up and the freight charges will be deducted from your refund. Furniture and grandfather clock returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee.
Any item(s) returned for refund that has been used, damaged, or not in the original packaging will be sent back to the Purchaser at their expense and no refund or exchange will be allowed. We will not accept back items that have been used, damaged or abused. Once we receive the item and confirm that it is in re-sellable condition, we will refund the cost of the item less all shipping charges.
Although you will be responsible for getting the item back to us, we can arrange for our freight carrier to pick the items up from you. Once we receive the items back, we will give you a refund. Please note that custom items, sale items, and special orders are not returnable.
"TO THE TRADE": Designer Antiques offers qualified businesses, decorators, and designers a trade discount on furniture items only. We do not discount our chairs or accessories. We require a valid copy of your business license and payment by company check.
